Ove Indergaard

Ove grew up in Norway before moving to the UK to train as a Physiotherapist, graduating with a BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford (1999) before completing an MSc in Sports and Exercise Injury Management at Leeds Metropolitan University (2003).

Ove has from a young age been very passionate about sports and has competed in several sports through the years including Badminton, Football and Triathlon. He has completed multiple marathons and an Ironman Triathlon, and takes his love of sport into his work, helping numerous sports participants stay healthy and injury free. Ove has extensive experience working in Elite sport, previously having worked with the GB Judo team and England Badminton amongst other sports.
Ove is also one of the few who have achieved the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercises Medicine Gold Accreditation as a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist.

In addition to this Ove is a MSK Ultrasonographer, and is trained in Mens Health. Ove uses his extensive knowledge of the human body, mens health issues and the use of advanced therapies such as Shockwave Therapy to treat chronic pelvic pain, coccydynia, erectile dysfunction and Peyronies disease.

It is important for Ove to be up-to-date with the latest research and technologies in order to help his patients recover more effectively therefore, he has a continuous programme of professional development holding numerous certifications including membership of the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Functional Range Release and Conditioning, Dry Needling, Anatomy in Motion and is a Specialist and Educator in Shockwave Therapy.
